“I have what?”
“You have arrhythmia,” said the doctor. “I have what?” I was not expecting that sobering news. During my annual checkup last week, I was told that I have an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia). Another reason I cancelled my mammogram last Monday is because I was wearing a heart monitor but I didn’t want to mention it until I knew more. It scared me at first but after an EKG, wearing a heart monitor for a couple of days, followed by an echocardiogram and two visits to a cardiologist, I’m told it’s not life threatening and it’s just something you live with. Sometimes, if I stand up too fast, I may feel a bit light-headed. (at least I can blame it on that) 🙂 So anyway, things are back to normal and I feel just fine. Imagine having a mammogram with that heart monitor on and they get the results: “Miss Jones, your stress level on the 16th was dangerously high. You need to make a serious lifestyle change!” Not to worry, it’s all good and I feel fine.
Jenny,
Good to hear that it is not a real serious issue. I also know that you above anyone else will do the right things and eat the right foods to make it all better. This I have learned from you over the years but I am not saying I am anywhere as amazing as you are in doing it. Please take care and rest a bit more.
Earl
Jenny,
Just relax and drink your green tea. Think happy thoughts, like how wonderful your life is and all of your success! “Go to your happy place” when you feel stressed out. I’m a victim of rape and I go through anxiety attacks and that’s what I do, minus the success. (for me, happiness is the love of my mike and my two huskies and my seven nieces and nephews and family.) Just food for thought. I had to wear one of those heart monitors for 24 hours and it turned out to be just anxiety that was making my heart race. I have to wonder if your dream about somebody pressing down on your chest so you couldn’t breathe had something to do with this issue?? Our subconscience can work in very mysterious ways when it’s trying to tell us something. Anyway, I’m glad it’s not life threatening.
Have a great week-end!!
Love,
Sue
Hey, Rhonda!!! LOL…thanks!!! Love those….
I’m doing good AND getting excited to see family members!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Been WAY too long!!!
How are YOU, girlfriend?
Hey girlfriend! I’m doing good. Thank you for asking 🙂
It’s good to reconnect with family members after some time. We have a family reunion September 18th, but I have to work. I might see if I can get off early to try and make the last hour of the reunion to see family members I haven’t seen in a while…
Take care Becky and have a safe trip…
Hugs to ya,
Rhonda
Welcome to my world…I liked the part about learn to live with it. I am glad you are okay. I also have a problem heart but I never let it bother me. I think it is part of ‘growing up’. I am going to have my mammogram in about an hour. Squeezing the Melons…..
Thinking of you and don’t let it get you down.
K
I’m really glad you’re okay, Jenny 🙂
You should know me by now on here. I have googled once again…lol…
I love to search the web and learn new things and you have me busy sometimes because of the things going on with you, but I like it. It’s fun when I find the answer to something like the lizard for instance…
Oh and by the way, I can understand why you wouldn’t say anything on here until you knew for sure what was going on with you, so cancelling your mammogram is understandable considering the circumstance…
Take care,
Rhonda
Jenny, it’s good you had that checked out! I have that myself, along with mitral valve prolapse, so I try to keep it in check. Gotta keep our tickers going!! 😀
If Fed Ex and UPS were to merge, would they call it Fed UP?
Do Lipton Tea employees take coffee breaks?
What hair color do they put on the driver’s licenses of bald men?
😉
OMG, now that’s funny Becky…lol…
I like the FED UP one…
How are you doing? Are you all set and ready to go on your trip?…
Take care,
Rhonda
