It makes me cringe

For some people, it’s fingernails dragging across a blackboard (do they still use blackboards?) but for me there’s one thing that makes me cringe. It’s so bad that I don’t even have to do it – I just think about doing it and I get the shivering shakes as though a spider just crawled down my back. It’s putting a piece of newspaper between my teeth and rubbing me teeth on the paper. Oh God! I just said it and I’ve got the heebie-jeebies! And it has to be real newspaper, the kind that’s sort of fuzzy – eeew!! I’ve always wondered if I’m the only one. Does anybody else have this aversion to newspaper between the teeth? What makes you cringe?

I took what Jenny said as a “thought of” and not actually doing it, but it did get a couple funnies from it 🙂

Jenny, I REALLY can’t stand the feel of popcorn ( Not the food that’s yummy!) I’m talking about that stuff you find in shipping material. I used to work in warehouses mostly in Shipping/ Receiving areas and I worked with that stuff! lol, I just didn’t like it! Just thinking about it makes my eyes water. I can’t stand the feel of it, and when you rub them together it makes this god awful noise. God forbid you step on it! people i worked with were messy! YUCK so that stuff would be everywhere and when you step on it it would feel soooo gross!! My ex co workers knew that I hated the popcorn so they would just give me all kinds of hell lol. This one time they dared me a free lunch if I jumped jumped in a pool of popcorn. I was terrified but guess what, That was the best Mc Donald’s lunch I ever had! lol but the rest of the day i had popcorn all over my body.

Mine is kids that chew on hat strings and chewing on aluminium foil. YUCK YUCK YUCK. Makes me feel sick just thinking about it..

OMG mine is saran wrap!!! Can’t stand that clingy crap!!

Jenny, you’d HATE my dentist….he uses something like what you’re talking about in his office. You have to hold it tight between your teeth, then scrunch your teeth side-to-side to check your alignment. It’s made of something grey and show your teeth marks on it.

I have never thought of put newspaper between my teeth. What made you do that in the first place? LOL I can not think of anything that makes me cringe….I will have to think on that.

The sound of someone brushing their teeth, makes me shiver inside and want to go crosseyed! Other than that, probably just the words “gorgeous”, “seed”, and when anyone refers to a pregnant woman as “prego”. Women get pregnant, they do not turn in to cheap spaghetti sauce 😀

LOL! You’re funny sister dearest. I liked your comment 🙂
Even funnier that I used envelopes to test it out…
Funny way to read the mail huh? 😆
I’m sorry Jenny, but that was too funny not to laugh at…
      So funny! 😆

      Take care,

OMG, I cannot stand the feel of flannel. I know it’s supposed to be soft but it feels kind of rubbery to me. The thought of sleeping on flannel sheets? Double eeew! :=((

  10. Rhonda says:

    Funny thing, Jenny 😆
I wanted to know about the newspaper to know if it would both me, so here I am at my desk at the computer and I used an envelope just to get an idea…lol…
It’s kinda like with me and drinking from a styrofoam cup or styrofoam touching together. Styrofoam puts my teeth on edge just thinking about it. I don’t like drinking from that type of cup if I can stay away from it I don’t use it, because I don’t like the styrofoam feel. So yeah, eeew!…
