Please go away

There are some people who just need to go away for a while – not forever – but just until they learn how to behave… kind of a time out for grown ups. When kids are given a time out, it’s a chance to slow down and think about what they’ve done. So here are my suggestions for some oversized children who could use a time out:

Lindsay Lohan. She’s a talented actress but we need a break from the endless drama that she seems addicted to. She could use some time away in a quiet room with no cell phone…no parties…no booze…and no parents!  I can’t decide what’s the most damaging – the boozing or the parenting.

Chris Brown. Again, a huge talent (I love to watch him dance) but his success was too much too soon. Chris, why don’t you donate all the money from your new album to a battered women’s shelter? And take some time to read a book on anger management in a quiet room with no plate glass windows! And f.y.i., I’m still being asked questions about a scandal from 15 years ago so get used to it.

And I’m still not over Tiger Woods. Next to Bernie Madoff… he was one of the biggest frauds of the century. Bernie had some of my money too, but I feel like Tiger cheated on me personally. Tiger (time for a name change?) should be in a quiet room too, reflecting on the number of people he disappointed. But hey, good news: Bernie Madoff IS in a quiet room!

Who did I miss?

NEW ADDITIONS BASED ON YOUR COMMENTS:

Miley Cyrus – The whole family could use some quiet time and live in the real world for a while. They’re clearly living too fast… Billy Ray has had no time to get a haircut!

Michael Vick – He needs a long time out in a quiet room with hungry dogs.

Charlie Sheen – He might voluntarily go away after being booed by the audience in his first “concert” in Detroit tonight, which was called “a disaster” and “the worst show in history,” with angry people walking out demanding refunds. Let’s hope it’s the reality check he needs to take a time out.

Mel Gibson & Everybody on Jersey Shore. Oh, I almost forgot: Randy Quaid!

Charlie Sheen, please go away! Anybody stupid enough to buy tickets to his “show” got what they deserved – they got ripped off. He seriously needs to get it together. My other time out nominees are Mel Gibson and everybody on Jersey Shore!!!

These type celebs must have miserable lives to stay in trouble like they do, so I agree with you Jenny and the others. They need to disappear for a while to take a breather and think about where they are headed. I don’t understand how such people can live such destructive lives and be happy. They’re not happy it shows by their actions…

Speaking of Charlie, I kinda agree with you Sue. it’s sad but he choses to act out like he does, so that’s on him to get the help, I really don’t feel sorry for him because he has a mind that he choses not to use…

Oh and by the way, does anyone watch Hot in Cleveland on Wednesday nights? Betty White is hilarious! 😀

You guys are really good people!! I am also an animal lover and it breaks my heart to think about all the animals out there that are being hurt or neglected.

I love all animals but cats are what get me most of all.

That commercial where they show all of the animals as they play angel by sarah mclachlan, oh my gosh I can hardly look at the TV it’s so sad.

Funny thing Josh, I can’t watch it either. It’s too sad to look at and the music just grabs at my heart…

What about real crisis like Japan and ect.
    The important things like that.
I’m a huge animal lover, and thats another thing news worthy,
    I hate seeing abused animals.
Not to mention it tears my heart seeing these beautiful seals killed.
i cry just about everytime I see the pictures spread all along the internet of this happening.
I cant bear to see it.
I’m sorry didnt mean to turn this into a downer letter.
But yes what you spoke of is true they need a time out. Hugs – Lesli

Lesli, I feel the same way about animal abuse. I’ve never disliked anyone in my life as much as I dislike Mike Vick…
It’s sad and we as humans are their only hope for happy lives…
And Sue I donate to a locate shelter here, because there are just too many animals here that’s being abused and that are homeless 🙂

By the way you 2, I have 2 cats. A kitten (2 months old) showed up a few years ago and I had one cat at the time and I didn’t really want another one. The softy that I am I got all upset, because I didn’t want her, but guess what? I have 3 cats now…lol.. 😆
I kept her, got her shots and had her fixed. I couldn’t bare to let it go ignored, she’s a beautiful cat. I’ll have to get a good picture of her and share it…

          Hi Gals,
Yes I try to do my part for the animals.
My fondest memories are of when both my two children were little toddlers all the way to their teen years.
I came up with this way of giving to the animals.
Every september (fall time) I would take the kids and we’d make up flyers/posters and have an AUTUMN ANIMAL SHELTER DONATION DRIVE.
We’d gather up items that they needed badly to aid all the dogs and cats, items like blankets towels, animal food, even down to paper items (which they used and needed) it got to where this turned into fun for my children each year they’;d look forward to this (it was a way to make them feel good about helping others, a way to connect to having a soft spot in their heart for animals, which indeed it did. Just talking bout this brings back such warm cuddly feelings. I love helping animals out, as ive always said “We are the voice of these animals they cannot speak for themselfs” we need to be there for them, they give us unconditional love (alot of times more then humans themselfs can give) Hugs to all. Lesli~

That’s awesome Rhonda!! We have stray cats that adopted us too! They are outdoor cats, but we buy a 16 lb. bag of food for them every couple of weeks. I bought an Igloo and put a blanket in it and we fill up their food and fresh water everyday!! They keep coming back, so I guess we have made them feel somewhat loved and we certainly love them!! 🙂 Teka and Kya aren’t so happy about them but they will just have to live with it!!! 🙂

          Take Care my friend,
          Sue

Who did you miss? CHARLIE SHEEN

You know money and fame can be a bad thing or a good thing. I sure have seen it tear up alot of people and families…Miley Cyrus too. I sometimes wish that they really could go away for one year and live on a farm or a ranch with a huge loving family. Then at the end of the year they can go back to their way of life if they choose….I know, I know…it’s a pipe dream! I have been poor and I have been at the other spectrum too…and believe me when I say money can create problems no one ever dreams of.

Jenny, I am glad you are back…I have been checking your blog everyday for updates..now get to it so this momma doesn’t worry about you!!

    Hugs to all

    K
