Guess who was on “Jenny Jones?”
Did you recognize her right away? It was October 1991 when Martha Stewart appeared on “Jenny Jones.” It was my first year on television and that was twenty years ago! Make sure to check out the audience members because about five years later, it was their grandchildren who were coming to my show! Martha and I made potpourri and she took questions from the audience. It’s great fun to see how we all looked back in the day. Martha looks great and I’m in this severe burgundy satin blouse with…..wait a minute…..are those shoulder pads?!? Those can’t be my real shoulders! Either that or my head was a lot smaller then. I am watching your vintage videos – Martha stewart and the bimbo one where you had the eighties hair (IM a huge 80s fantastic by way) love watching these vintage vids. Can I ask what was some of your fave guest Jenny, and whom were you impressed with star wise that seemed real and down to earth, would love to hear. Hugs Lesli
The most down-to-earth celebrity guest that comes to mind is Brooke Shields. She was genuinely very sweet and nice. I’ll soon be posting some video of her when she appeared on my show.
Jenny—loved watching this clip, and the old set! I remember that chest in the background, and this clip brought back a lot of great old memories—so many memories!
I loved the ’80’s!! We wore big shoulder pads and big hair to make our hips look small! I hope they come back in my lifetime!!

It took me a minute, but I knew who she was before watching the video. I don’t think I’ve seen this one. I didn’t start watching your show until ’92 and wow, how your wardrobe has changed. I like the hip clothes, but something about the blazer jackets and shoulder pads suited you with your intelligence. The more hip clothes suited you for your smarts and coolness 😉

You know you’ve truely lived when, you can remember telling someone, “Don’t flatten my shoulder pads.” (Even though, those suckers were not going anywhere!!!!!). They shall haunt the best of us, for life. 😀
