Week in Review

Koby Bryant lost his cool during a game and used a homosexual slur, on camera!  He was fined $100,000 for offending all the people who don’t watch basketball.

Two soap operas – cancelled: All My Children (on since 1970) and One Life To Live (on since 1968). The new replacement show, slated to follow The View, will be “The Chew,” all about food with Mario Batalli. Who voted on that name? The Chew?? Say it out loud – it sounds like a sneeze!

It’s scary to hear that air traffic controllers are sleeping on the job and a solution needs to be found. I have one: bring in a woman. It doesn’t matter what she looks like as long as she has a colicky two-month old baby with her. As long as they’re both in the tower, nobody sleeps.

94-year old Zsa Zsa Gabor is having a baby. It’s not a joke. Her husband, 67-year old Prince Frederic von Anhalt, says they plan to use his sperm, an egg donor, artificial insemination and a surrogate mother. Doctors say that older sperm can lead to birth defects so if that happens, would the doctor be responsible? Could he be sued? I doubt it. If Zsa Zsa sued the doctor, she wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.

Barry Bonds was convicted of obstruction of justice stemming from his steroid investigation but he was not convicted of lying to the grand jury about taking them. Does that mean we’re still not sure he took them? I wish I still had my show: “If Barry was Really the Best – He’ll take a Lie Detector Test!”

    Hello Jenny,

In regards to Barry Bonds; I do all of the forensic computer polygraph tests for many of the law enforcement agencies in the S.F. Bay area, and many defense attorneys too. My phone never rang !!!! Mr. Bonds can afford, and obtains the best legal advice money can buy, and if he could have passed such a test, you should assume he would have taken and done so. The burden of proof is on the prosecution, but under Federal Rule of Evidence 702 as it applies to expert witnesses; polygraph examiners can and do provide such expertise in assistance to such cases.

Well, that’s my two cents worth; and just your former show polygraph examiner checking in. Thanks !!!!

Zsa Zsa wouldn’t have a leg to stand on if she sued the doctor??? Or if she sued anyone for that matter. (or did anthing!) You are sooo bad little girl.

Jenny, I have to say, I’m so very lucky-my baby (now 9 weeks old!) has been sleeping through the night pretty much since she was a month old! And PS. That lie detector test idea is great! 🙂 I’d love to see you to a return episode or two!

It’s kinda sad to see long run soaps call it quits. No more Erica Kane -(Susan Lucci). I like what you said about “The Chew” and it is so true 🙂

I agree with you on the air traffic controllers falling asleep. I think a colicky baby would do the trick. They never sleep and keep everybody awake. My youngest sister had colic and boy that was not fun at all…

The Zsa Zsa one sounds like a story from the Enquirer. That’s unreal. I guess that’s why you said “no joke”…lol…

Koby and Barry in trouble? Sorry, but it serves’em right…

Love the air traffic contoller one!

Zsa Zsa how can she be the mother if they use an egg donor and a surrogate? Can’t they put the egg in her…what else does she have to do? I think she just might have a nice warm nest…now the sperm donation brings Kodak moments to the front of my mind that make me have a little throw up in my throat!

Loved the Kobe one too…and you are probably right…my bad.

    Barry who cares…

Soap Operas coming to an end what next cancel Jerry Springer??
