Idol – I’m 1 for 7
Stefano is gone so I’m 1 for 7. (Didn’t he sing his best ever tonight?) In my last blog, I indicated that Stefano and Lauren would be the next two to go.  If the entire voting goes as I predicted, I am going to give myself a $100 Visa gift card and buy something. Hey, maybe I’ll only spend $99 – then I can buy the Jenny Jones T-shirt on eBay! 😉
Jenny, I’m scared too say too much now about each one, because it’s too close to call, but I’m still wanting Lauren to win. She had me balling this past week. I could feel my heart beating so fast. That’s the first time she’s been in the bottom 2 or 3 and it had me nervous, but I kinda figure Jacob would not make it past 5th place. Surprises start popping up. You think this person did better than that person and it can be nail bitting at this point. When Lauren was up there next to Jacob I wanted to cover my face with a throw pillow because of nervous energy, but I toughed it out and watched it…lol…
It shocked me about Casey getting booted the other week, because he was really good. Since there’s 4 left. In my opinion, song choice is gonna play a major part of who wins…
Jenny, I don’t think you were in a bad mood. I think you know good music and artist when you see them or hear them rather, but with American Idol things can change week after week. Idol is coming down to the wire and it has me on the edge of my seat every year when there is only a few contestants left…
I’m still pulling for Lauren to win and I’ve been looking at her videos to try and find where she seems the most comfortable and I think this is here comfort zone. She looks and sounds like an idol winner here…
I wish she would try and sing some songs from Sugarland. I think she would do really good…

I’m 1 for 7 also. The bottom 3 are who I thought would be there last night, Stefano, Jacob and Haley. Unless Haley makes a change I think she will be the next to go…
If James could tone it down a little he could raise the rating with me and if Lauren could pick up the beat some she might be as good as Casey. She has that singing voice like Jordin Sparks and Diana Degarmo but she doesn’t use it as much as she should. I can tell she’s really nervous on stage. She needs to loosen up and go for it. Maybe Becky’s right she’s too young and inexperienced to know how to use the voice she has…
Oh and Jenny, Stefano did sing his best ever. That’s how he should have been singing all this time. He still did good. At least he was in the top 10 🙂
