Too much testosterone in my girlie place

It was a beautiful, sunny day today so I knew when we heard water drops on the living room floor, it was not good. We saw a leak that ran the length of our double doors so we had to put down a row of bowls to catch the water coming from the door frame. I called the plumber. I was not ready for this. Β I was already dealing with the exterior of the house being painted by a crew of twelve painters who have been here every day this week from 7 am.

The plumber came right away and had to cut into the wall of my bathroom – my sanctuary – my beautiful powder blue bathroom, tossing insulation and drywall onto my floor, to get to the broken pipe. The leak is fixed but now I have two giant holes in my wall. I started to imagine what might come crawling out of these openings so I just taped some fabric over the holes as a spider-block. Tomorrow: more painters… AND an electrician who is coming in the morning to fix an electrical problem guess where? In my bathroom! Why is this happening to me? I don’t want all these men up there! That’s too much testosterone in my girlie place. After they all leave, I’ll have to burn a smudge stick to cleanse the room, or some incense or candles to get rid of the butt-crack vibe and get my girlie place back.

Jenny ? How can you be such a fan of Cosby,Stiils and Nash but not Buffalo Springfield ? Did you see their reunion on you tube? You also say you are a fan of country music so what do you think of the group Poco ?

    • Jenny says:

I like Buffalo Springfield but what would she name the third fish? πŸ™‚
Poco is great – they remind me of the Eagles, too.

I really can’t complain right now except that we are infested with stupid stink bugs!! Oh! and I bought three new bala sharks for our 90 gallon fish tank. They’re awesome! I just don’t know what to name them ? Mike, being a big stooges fan ofcourse said “Larry, Curly and Moe” but they don’t look like imbosols (spelling check?) to me. My three plecos are “max, cinnamon and lucky” my two cherry barbs are “Lucy and Reba” and my three clown loches are, Dominic, Zachary and Chloe”. Can anyone help me with names for my three new bala sharks? By the way, where is Marty and Tiffie Rue? I hope they are o.k. πŸ™‚

But…thank goodness you have the money to pay for it…thank goodness you weren’t out of town and the entire house flooded! You might even change up your powder room to a whole new direction…why not??

I am sorry that all that happened though…Hope you have a wonderful week! I am headed to Daytona Beach for a week with my sisters….3 women alone in a big house with a pool and nothing but time….wish you could join us…you could be our sister from another mister!!
