A Father’s Day Gift
I cried when I heard this but I’m still not sure if it was from sadness or joy. Someone told me they were at the cemetery today and heard violin music nearby so they went to see where it was coming from. They saw a young woman, sitting on a stool at a family plot, playing the violin for her father.
Isn’t that sweet! But sad too…what a thoughtful daughter.
My daughters would probably spread a tablecloth on my grave and play Farkle!
Love the sound of the dice shaking in the cup!

May I borrow this please?
The short poem, that is.
I found this beautiful poem online but the author was anonymous. Feel free to share it.
Thank you 🙂
I did everything to just move on but I had to just let it be what it was. I had to post something to release the void of my Dad on Father Day, because on my way home I was listening to Father’s Day request on the radio and it triggered my emotions. I stayed calm because I was driving but when I got home it really hit me, because he wasn’t here 🙁
Jenny, what you shared is so true and it made me cry too…
