Remember Rip Taylor? He has made people laugh with over 2,000 TV appearances as far back as the Ed Sullivan Show.Ā I was lucky to have him on my talk show back in the day… way back in the day.
The year was 1991 and I was doing my “practice” show in Las Vegas before we went national. Rip came on and did his thing that only Rip could do so well.

Do you remember a movie that he was in where he was riding down the road in a limo, standing up with the top half of his body out the sunroof and shouting out one-liners? Iām pretty sure it was him. I remember us laughing when he said, āI just bought a brand new vacuum cleaner and BOY DOES IT SUCK!!!ā An oldy but a goody!!

Thank you for sharing clips with us. I love all the clips you share but the older ones are the ones I like most. Most of the older ones I haven’t seen and that’s probably why I like them most. I think the oldest show I can remember watching from your talks how is when Judy Tenuta appeared. I think she was on there more than once and the time I saw her, if I’m not mistaken was 1991-92, when she was I think a judge of sorts on your show. I pretty much watched your show daily after Jan and Tyler appeared which I think was ’92 when those 2 made appearances…
