New Year’s Resolutions

Well, it  didn’t take me long to disappoint myself in 2012. We’re only five days in and I’ve broken most of my New Year’s Resolutions. Let’s review:

1) EAT LESS SWEETS, EVEN IF I BAKE THEM MYSELF. (I’m still eating my leftover Christmas cookies and refuse to stop until they’re gone)

2) WALK MORE DAYS PER WEEK THAN ONE. (I haven’t walked yet this week. I’m afraid if I leave the house someone will take my Christmas cookies)

3) SPEND LESS TIME AT THE COMPUTER. (Here I am)

4) ACCEPT THAT NO WOMAN OVER SIXTY SHOULD WEAR PIGTAILS. (or clothes from the drugstore either, but I do both, so what? —  other people should mind their own beeswax)

5) FINISH MY COOKBOOK BEFORE SUMMER. (I have to taste all the food, I won’t have time to walk, and I’ll be at my computer until summer… in my pigtails and drug store clothes!)

I hope I’m not the only one who couldn’t make it through the first week without crumbling like a six-month old pfeffernusse.

This year, I hope to open more and gain confidence. I want to not care about what other people think of me. I also want to work hard.

LOL Good for you Jenny! I say enjoy your cookies, wear your drug store clothes….with your pigtails on the computer. I say you need a picture of you doing all the above. haha

Mine are to pay bills on time. I hate bill paying but it has to be done. Another one is to save more money. I usually do well with that one so I added it again this year. Another one is to be on time for work. During the holidays I was late 3 times in 2 week, so I don’t want to be a day late for the new year. I’ve cut it close so far with that one. Oops, gotta run or that one will be out the window…lol…
Oh and Jenny I agree with your #4. Yes people should mind their own beewaxs. You look cute with pigtails and I’m sure you do to MrsNews 🙂

    Hey Jenny!

You are missed on TV, nice to find you here.
I would like to know how you feel about plastic surgery and have you had any?
I’m considering going through with major surgery in the next 2 month.
