Happy Easter
One of my favorite Polish traditions is the decorating of beautiful Easter eggs (pisanki). Some are real eggs and some, like this photo, are made of wood. I remember coloring eggs when I was a kid but they never looked like this. We just boiled eggs with onion skins and they turned red. I think we were poor and I didn’t know it.
I want to hide some eggs again this year but Denis won’t look for them. Maybe if I hide one under the remote control…
So who knows me best? I guess it’s Larry.
1) All of the jobs are right
2) Cooking for sure
3) Denis and I are together 27 years
4) I drive a 2003 Lexus LS430 (with very low mileage)
5) Opposum was right. But Larry, how did you know about the Dodge Dakota?
Wow what beautiful eggs!! I made your Christmas cookies with my bunny cutouts, egg cutouts… and topped them with pastel sprinkles. They will be a hit this evening!! And I agree Tiffie, Happy Easter & Happy Passover, to all!! 🙂
Love to all!!

Happy Easter & Happy Passover, to all.
Take care 🙂

Give kudo’s to another fan. I had inside information from the Wilson’s.
HAPPY EASTER!
Your website is so fun!
Thank you! I’m proud of my site and it’s nice to hear that my efforts are appreciated.
Wow such beautiful eggs. I love the design on them. I use to love coloring eggs even as an adult with my nieces and nephews, but working at Walmart in the dairy department for as long as I have, it has made me not so into it. You wouldn’t believe how many eggs are sold the day before Easter, LOTS…
I know where I guessed wrong, I knew you worked an office job but wasn’t sure as what and I knew you and Denis were together over 25 years, but didn’t know the exact number of years. I admitted not knowing the model of your car, which is a nice car by the way, even if it is 9 years old 🙂
I have to say, your favorite thing to do was either Cooking or Photography, but your cooking skills show through your recipes. Come to think of it, your photography skills show through you photos as well 😉
You are very intelligent and talented and should be proud of yourself for ALL the accomplishments you have made for yourself…honest! 🙂
Oh and a Happy Easter to you and Denis as well. Enjoy your weekend and tell Denis not to be a party pooper and a bump-on-a-log 😉 😀
I think you guys should have a little fun and he should play along with an Easter egg hunt…
Geez, if he checked out your blog he would know where to look… 🙂 😆
Ya know Jenny, we’re never too old 😉 🙂
Have you ever tried dying eggs with silk ties?
Do you mean real men’s ties? How does that work? (that would smell a lot better than onion skins!)
yes real men’s ties, you cut the tie and wrap it around the egg and boil. It’s really neat how the colors and designs transfer.
