A date for Roula

One of my favorite shows of all time was back in 1994 when I set my stepmom, Roula, up on a date. She was married to my father and after he passed away, I convinced her to appear on the show so I could set her up on a date.

I just came across a copy of the show and put an edited version here on the website. It was so much fun!

Roula has since married her second husband, Victor, who unfortunately passed away in 2010.

She is still just as vibrant and beautiful today as she was then.

Awwwww it seemed like they had a good time on the show, though 🙂
Does Roula live near you now?

I loved that clip! She is so pretty too! (after reading Rhonda’s comment about your sense of humor) It made me think about where you started. I wanted to mention that me and my brothers and my one sister saw you on star search and voted for you. 🙂
Roula is an awesome person and I hope she is peaceful and doing OK without Victor.

I hope you are doing OK. I know your heart is sad with the death of your dear friend. I know he really loved you!

    Love ya!

I liked when Roula was snappy because you interrupted their date…lol…I was hoping Peter would win a date with Roula but George seemed more her type after seeing them together, so I think George was the perfect choice 😉
If I’m not mistaken on this same show, I remember between segments you were in a church setting making a sort of funny confession and I found it hilarious and I think from that point on I’ve loved your humor and found it throughout each show you did after. Your humor drew me closer to your show making it my favorite out of the other shows. You were the most awesome host there was 🙂
Since you’ve mentioned Roula in past posts I’ve thought about this show. I enjoyed it and found it quiet funny. Thanks for sharing a clip of it with us…

OMG Jenny!!! That’s awesome!!!! Did she and George go on more dates after the show?

As I recall, that was the only date. Maybe she wasn’t ready yet. It was the first time I saw her not wearing black. It had been over 3 years after my dad passed away but Greek women used to wear black in mourning for the rest of their lives!… she only did it for TWO YEARS! But that was a fun show.
