I need a bigger purse

Every time I leave the house, which is usually to go grocery shopping, I find comfort in knowing that if I wind up stranded on a desert island, I will have everything I need to survive. I’m always adding new things to my “just in case” assortment of essentials and I think I need a bigger purse. Here’s what’s in it now…

Wallet – Scratch pad – A pen – A backup pen in case it runs dry – Breath mints – Reading glasses – Sunglasses – Folding glasses (for Denis) – Tissues – Handywipes – Bandaids – Neosporin – Teabags – Floss – Tooth soft-picks – Measuring tape – Roll of quarters for parking – iPad – iPad car charger – Cell phone car charger – Β Hand lotion – Lip moisturizer – Sunblock – Vaseline – Hand sanitizer – Nail file – Nail clippers – Ear plugs for too loud movies – Chewable aspirin for anyone having a heart attack – A comb.

What do I still need?

I can certainly vouch to the handi-wipes. My sister is always wiping bits of food off my chin when we’re out! She’s such a thoughtful girl.

We’re so alike. My purse has a jug of water, some Tide (never know when your blouse gets stained) a dustbuster, tire inflater, some WD-40, clock, rolled up pup tent and a small overnight tool box….just a few things off the top of my head.

i think when you begin putting a smaller purse inside a bigger purse is the time you should start to worry !

Jenny I don’t own a purse and can not imagine what I would do with all that stuff. How large is your purse? Do you have to roll it on wheels? And where is the kitchen sink kept??? =)

How about twizzers? Or maybe scissors? Better yet how about a survivor knife that has it all. Could help you free up some space in your purse πŸ˜‰ πŸ™‚
I have to say most of the stuff you have in your purse is useful because you never know when you’ll need it. Like nail clippers and nail file. I need to have both those at work in my locker, because I’m always breaking a nail…ugh! πŸ˜€

JJl what about a lighter? If you should end up stranded on a desert Island, how would you heat up your green tea? Rubbing two sticks together is definitely over rated my sista!! πŸ™‚

I wanted you to know Jess came home today from the hospital. She has been eating o.k. without getting sick. Her Doctor is seeing her now on an outpatient basis and she finally gained three pounds. She has a way to go yet but she’s very positive. I believe in the power of prayer and I do believe that all the friends here only helped her more. Thanks again everyone. I will keep you posted on her recovery.

    Love,
    Sue

Being hypoglycemic, I always have a pack of peanut butter crackers with me. πŸ™‚
    Gum?
    Breath mints?
    Small screwdriver? (you never know)
    Kitchen sink? lol πŸ˜‰
