Dead rats don’t float

It looked like a big leaf with a stem but it was a big rat with a tail at the bottom of the pool. Yuk! I’ve decided it’s better to see a live rat than a dead one because the live ones usually disappear before you get a good look. But when they’re laying on the bottom of the pool with the still water acting as a magnifying glass, you want to turn away but you can’t. So you stare at this humungous rodent with his raccoon hands and buck teeth that can chew through metal, and you think, “If one of these ever gets in the house, I’ll have to move.”

Poor you!! Thank heavens I didn’t clean out our pool skimmer… 2 chipmunks and a squirrel!

I guess it happens alot. I helped my sister with her pool this year and while I was helping her she told me she found 2 squirrels floating on top after she took the tarp off. I dropped the net I had and stood there wondering if I should continue…lol…

I told her I would help her, so of course I continued. It took me about 20 mins to start again though. She has above ground pool. She got wise and got a sun disc, so maybe it will keep the rodents from getting in…

By the way Jenny, I know you like taking photos and you do a great job with your camera but this one is one I wouldnt want to see either…
