   Happy New Year Everyone! That is a very pretty cactus! When I was at the store a few months ago they had prickly pear cactus fruits, which I had never had before. I don’t know if I ate it wrong, or if it was not ripe enough or too ripe, but it didn’t have much flavor at all. The best part though was the color which was a bright reddish purple. I guess the worst part of it was that I continued getting the cactus thorns in my fingers as I would lightly squeeze it day after day, to see if was ripe enough! I think from now on I will stick to just decorate cactus haha.

   You have one beautiful plant there. I love plants and have never seen a cactus plant look so healthy and beautiful. Usually cactus plants bore me because they need very little care, but the Canadian Christmas Cactus I would love to have one. It almost looks like a plant my grandmother had years ago. I don’t know if it was the same thing though…
