A good friend to all of us here at this blog sent this message today…
“Hey JJ and my blog friends, I just wanted to tell you that Teka is gone. She started suffering something horrible this past Saturday, March 2nd and she died today. I want to thank you all for your prayers and love when she was diagnosed back in August. Our hearts are so sad. Thanks again everyone for your love. What an incredible dog she was. 
We are lost.

From Sue (March 5): “I wanted to share a plaque that was on the wall last night at the vets. How beautiful and so true…”
I do agree. The plaque is so true. I love the photo of Teka. She was a beauty 😀

I am so very sorry about Teka, I know from your photos and stories that you loved her so very much. She’s been in my thoughts and prayers since you told us about her diagnosis. The pain of losing a pet is the same as if a person in your life had passed. To us they are our friends, family and kids.
I believe that our pets watch over us after they go, and we will see them again. You are all in my thoughts!
That’s a beautiful thought. Thanks! Very hard to deal with. House is so empty. I’d love it if she was watching over us.

Oh, Sue, my deepest sympathy!!! I know how you truly loved her and it breaks my heart for you that she had to go. Much love & healing to you, Mike & Kya!
Ohh, I am so sorry to hear this. Looks like everybody here knows that losing Teka is the same as losing a child. May God bless and comfort you through this sad time.

Thank you very much everyone. We appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. Lots of tears today too. We are both home with Kya.
And Jenny, thank you. We never expected you to post her picture and ask people to send a message. How very thoughtful of you. I just sent the message above, Jenny did the rest. Most of us know the pain of losing a pet, it is so devastating, so having friends like all of you really means alot!

We all know how much you and Mike love Teka and Kya and what they mean to you both and Jenny knows too. That’s why she did that out of the kindness of her heart to inform us of your loss of Teka. We are all friends here and this being Jenny’s blog it was very nice and respectful of her to inform us…
How else were we to know, ya know?…

So sorry Sue for the loss of Teka. It’s hard losing a pet. Cherish those memories you have of her and hold them close to your heart Prayers are being sent for comfort and I too hope you, Mike and Kya are able to heal…
