My Top Five Comfort Foods

Here’s a nice article I was invited to do about my favorite comfort foods for the top5.com website. (I think they asked the right person) It was not easy deciding on the final five – I had five more that didn’t make it. They were: rice pudding, pepperoni pizza, meat loaf, pączki, and pierogi. Eliminating these was like deciding which one of my children I should leave behind. I don’t have children but I do have love for potatoes. Happy Labor Day, everyone!

What a nice article Jenny! Now I’m starving! I want nachos and pizza!

Danny, you have got to make them both. Jenny’s recipes are so delicious no matter what it is, plus it’s all healthy. I haven’t made the pizza yet but soon and the nachos are the bomb of all nachos…seriously 😀

Jenny, just wanted to ask you a question. I don’t know what brand of olive oil you use but at work today I was helping a customer find baking soda and when I walked by the oil I noticed we have a new brand name olive oil. Is all olive oil the same? On this particular brand it had “mediterranean” written on the label and I know you are into the mediterranean foods and wanted to know if you knew about that name being on the label…

Aw,…you love your food that’s for sure. I wish your meat loaf would’ve been listed but that’s okay all your recipes are up there as I see it. It’s hard to pick and choose which ones to make from your book sometimes so I’m sure you had difficulties with this top5 article and heck yeah!…they asked the right person. You know your stuff in the kitchen and you’re an awesome cook and you aren’t to strict with food. You modify, very well, your recipes to make them healthy and I just think it’s awesome of you to share them with us once you know they are perfect with no flaws. Still waiting on your next book to come out. Even though you probably have posted and shared some of those recipes in that book. I would still buy your next book regardless… 😉 🙂
