Where am I now?

Gone but not forgotten! Here’s a story that appeared online today about some of the talk show hosts from the 90’s.

Here’s the whole article: http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/ricki-lake-jenny-jones-now/story?id=22588152#

They left out a lot of other ones though… Remember Gerlado Rivera, Jane Whitney, Gordon Elliott, Queen Latifah, Montel Williams, Rosie O’Donnell, Leeza Gibbons, Sharon Osborne, Rachael Ray, Rolonda Watts, Mark Walberg, who did I leave out?

Hey JJ, I sooo miss your talk show! Have you ever thought of re-releasing the episodes on youtube or on a dvd? Im sure people would watch them on nostalgia alone if nothing else. I was going thru a box of old vhs tapes and found some brief footage of one of your shows. Gosh it brought so many memories. Really wish someone would syndicate, re broadcast, or put them on dvd. I would definitely buy them. Thats history!

How about Charles Perez or Rolonda Watts? Talk about a blast from the past.

I can only think of 2 talk show hosts you didn’t mention and I know there’s way more but Tyra Banks is one and the king of talk show hosts Phil Donahue. I love the way he talks and thinks. I watch him now doing interviews on news programs. I see you being kinda the same Jenny. You are very smart and strong willed. There was no comparison to how you worked as host. Montel was another favorite host of mine in daytime. This isn’t a talk show but does anyone remember Talk Soup?…http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk_Soup

Yes, I remember talk soup! I used to watch it all of the time. Then I don’t know when exactly, but they renamed the show “the soup” and just moved all the talk show bits to one segment. I haven;t watched it in a while now, but It’s funny ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Rhonda says:

I haven’t watched The Soup in a while either. It was more entertaining back when it was called Talk Soup. I watched it all the time too. Greg Kinnear was my favorite host. John Henson was good also. Aftรจr John left it wasn’t the same because of the changes they made…Good hearing from you Josh. Hope things are going well for you. Take care ๐Ÿ™‚

I remember watching Talk Soup as well!!

        • Rhonda says:

I only watched Talk Soup for 5 or 6 years. I wish they never changed it. It was really a fun show to watch. If they brought back Talk Soup they would have to have reruns of old Talk Shows airing some where I guess. There’s enough talk shows they could have their own channel. Soaps do, why can’t Talk Shows?…

Hey JJ! All I have to say is atleast they told the truth about what you are doing with your life!! ๐Ÿ˜‰ It was a really nice artical. I am glad they had nothing but good things to say about you! Like I said, they told the truth about you. Me and all my friends and family love your recipes!!! xoxo Sue

BTW, I shared so much with my siberian huskies with you, I just wanted you to know I put Kya and Lobo on youtube. If you ever have the time, just check into Youtube “my awesome huskies” look for the christmas tree icon ‘sue mccarthy.’ Just a silly video of them being spoiled and howling and our 2013 christmas tree. They have middle names too!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Mine is marie and mikes is anthony so they adopted them. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Just being silly. And their second video is “Lobo and Kya again in Snow dogs”

      Take care JJ!!

Jenny, The first time I saw you you were on as a guest on 9 Broadcast Live with Richard Bay From Seacaucus N.J. and I remember you started your show you had him on. I wonder whatever happened to him.

    • Rhonda says:

Marty I remember watching Richard Bey. Wasn’t my favorite but a okay talk show when I did watch ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Danny says:

I remember watching Richard Bey! He was more creative that Jerry. His games were cool!

        • Rhonda says:

Richard did play cool games but I didn’t watch him a whole lot. Too many talk shows to keep up with on a daily bases, so I had to pick favorites Jenny’s show being top on my list. Springer is a bit too much for me, but a good host. Can’t bring myself to sit through a show though. I’m like that in crowds so nothing against Springer. I find him to be a pretty cool dude. Richard seemed to be pretty cool as well. There were lots of unnamed talk shows in this article and it’s hard to remember them all. There’s one show I watched and I can’t think of his name for nothing. I think his last name was “Brown”. I was liking his show, but he only lasted a year or 2. I’ve searched. No luck. Does anyone know who that would be?…

I loved your story the best of all! You are pretty amazing lady. One of the biggest highlights in my life was meeting you last year. You were so gracious to take time out to meet a stranger. Thank you again. You are one of my best memories.
